As a company independent of third-party components and potential API limitations, Datakit offers access to data from various native or standard CAD formats. We will need information about the 2D, 3D, model and assembly files you wish to exchange, the types of data involved and the computer platforms in use (Windows, Linux, Mac).
Datakit can provide you with "native" data reading solutions, so called because they're dedicated to a particular CAD solution, such as Catia V5, V6, Unigraphics NX, Inventor, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, ProEngineer Creo , etc. – or with neutral STEP, IGES and DXF solutions, including some which are specific to BIM like REVIT or IFC; ACIS or Parasolid CAD models, or web format.
Depending on your goals, we can offer you different formats that will enable you to recover simplified models for simple visualisation or integration for digital staging, or a complete geometric representation with all the construction, part design or assembly data.
Our standalone converters, grouped under the CrossManager name, let you convert files from and to most CAD formats, whether native or neutral, and do not require installation of any other software.
Our Rhino or SolidWorks plug-in converters are grouped under the name CrossCad /Plg. They are each linked to one or the other of these software applications, and therefore require a SolidWorks or Rhino licence on the same workstation.

Describe your needs in our form
Datakit can provide you with conversion tools adapted to the software solutions you use and to the size and complexity of the files you wish to exchange. If you want to migrate an entire database of parts or assemblies, we advise you to choose a rental solution that will allow you to use a licence for one year to complete the desired file migration. Datakit does not provide conversion services.
Depending on the size of your company and your organisation, we will provide you with one or more rights of use attached to a stand-alone computer, or to a server which will manage these rights of use.
