The LOTAR + CAX-IF workshop has taken...

This time comes just before the ballot on STEP AP242 DIS (draft international standard) starts, one of the last stages before the publication of the new standard AP242 (Edition 1), planned on Summer 2013.
Further editions of AP242 are planned to come soon after, in order to bring quick enhancements to the capabilities of exchange and archival of technical data with STEP.

Works have focused on the definition of AP242, to check new features, especially in the domains of PMI in 3D models and assemblies, tessellation, compacity of STEP files...

Datakit actively participates in these works, in order for STEP to provide the highest possible services, and to be ready on time when AP242 will become a public standard.
