myCADday 2016

Datakit is a partner of the second edition of myCADday: the french event dedicated to SOLIDWORKS and CATIA users community. The event will take place in the Double Mixte, in Lyon, France, on November 3rd, 2016.

Datakit will attend to this event, to show to French CAD users how its data exchange tools for SOLIDWORKS and CATIA can help them to better collaborate.
Datakit will especially showcase one of its flagship products for the users of these two CAD systems: Its plug-in "CATIA V5 3D to SOLIDWORKS", certified SOLIDWORKS Gold Product. It allows to import native CATIA V5 files (.CATPart, .CATProduct) in SOLIDWORKS.

Datakit provides also other tools dedicated to Dassault Systèmes software users, including many other import and export plugins for SOLIDWORKS, and the standalone converter CrossManger, which can convert files from SOLIDWORKS and CATIA V4, V5 and V6 into many other CAD formats, and conversely. Thus enabling interoperability between most CAD systems.

This event is organized by Visiativ: the biggest French reseller of CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS and CATIA, and also the main reseller of Datakit's software in France. It will be an opportunity for Datakit and Visiativ teams to strengthen their relationship.
